4 Travel Infographics to Coax You to Travel
Infographics are graphic visual representations of information, data or knowledge intended to present complex information quickly and clearly.
Infographics have been around for many years. However, only fairly recently the proliferation of a number of easy-to-use, free tools have made the creation of infographics available to a large segment of the population.
Many of us wish we could travel but circumstances always seem to prevent many of us from actually traveling. All sorts of things interfere with our ability to travel. From possibly the number one reason – not enough money, to I just don’t have time, my work keeps me busy, who’s going to take care of my dog, maybe next year, etc.
Free Travel – but we couldn’t go
Sometimes travel is staring you right in the face, but still there are obstacles. For example, there was a problem with our luggage when we came back from our African safari. Not only that but we had missed our return flight from Amsterdam to Los Angeles because of it. Safari Kay got the flight rearranged so we all took the same flight back, but we had to go to New York’ JFK airport then take a connecting flight back to LA. When we got to Los Angeles we discovered our luggage was missing.
Well to make a long story short, Safari Kay got all of us a free round trip ticket to anywhere in the United States. It was good for one year. Unfortunately for us, our business, which demands our full-time attention, prevented us from even using the ticket because we could not take the time off within the next year. So that free one-year travel perk went wasted. Oh how I wish I had that free flight right now.
Take the Plunge – Find a Way to Travel
I know because I am in that group of non-travelers at the present time. Although in my case I have traveled to a few different countries over the years and have been on two African Safaris. But the list of places I want to see and visit keeps getting longer with no end in site of when I might be able to visit any of the travel destinations on my list.
So I did the next best thing other than write about many of the places here on the site and on my Travel Quiz Weekly site, and that’s create a few travel infographics. I’m also borrowing one or more from other sources. Infographics give a simple overview of things generally requiring less words and are more visual that strictly writing about them.
