These two islands are related but they differ in the tradition and culture followed by the natives. The natives of these two islands are different in their beliefs and tradition. Tourists are more attracted to visit Maui.
The nature lovers would definitely be interested in viewing Maui as well as Molokai. However, unlike the natives of Maui, Molokai natives may not impress the tourists.
Despite this, Molokai has a beauty that attracts tourists to come and visit here. You can see many lighthouses on these Hawaiian Islands. But the one that stands out on the shoreline of Molokai has a beauty of its own.The natives and the tourists believe that the lighthouse in Molokai has a lengthy history which is another reason for the attraction. This lighthouse is located in a park where there are caves, a volcanic crater, and a rain forest.
If you want to feel the beauty of the real nature, then Molokai is a good place that has no pollution. You can breathe in fresh air that is hard to get in the cities one live. Molokai is a good place to have a peaceful vacation.
However, one should not expect the natives of this place to offer you garlands and warm welcome notes. If you want anything, you will get almost everything from here but not in a traditional manner.
Taking a trip around Molokai on a helicopter is a good idea. You will see the original beauty of Molokai. You will be able to have a top view of the waterfall that is the tallest among all others in Hawaii.

Molokai Island has been the same since many years and the tourists can find hardly any change in the island in their next visit.
Molokai Hawaii offers a variety of exclusive food like purplish sweet potatoes, Chinese cabbage, bok choy, macadamia nuts, and great breads. Though Molokai might not be great for creating a party mood or any such sort of celebrations with the natives, you can expect simple greetings like hello from them.
If you want to have any conversation with the natives, you will hear them telling interesting stories that only the natives of Molokai can tell you.
