Yes going on a vacation is a good way to get away from it all and have fun. This is especially true if you haven’t been on a vacation in ages, or if things have been hectic lately. Travel vacations can also be an energy-sapping experience. Packing a few extra travel accessories for your trip can help make things quite a bit easier once you’re there. Often taking the right travel accessories saves you time from finding and buying them if you need them but have forgotten to bring them. Personal grooming bag - Grooming bags help keep all of your items together in one place. You won’t have to rummage through different suitcases to find an item. That way you won’t be paying an arm and a leg for one once you are in another country and really need one.

Digital Camera(s) – A digital camera is actually a must for any trip whether short or long. How many times have you been somewhere where you saw something you wanted to snap a picture of but you didn’t have a camera with you? If you are fussy about your picture quality you might want to take a medium price small lightweight camera with quality lenses. Be sure to take extra batteries and that your existing batteries are fully charged. It’s best to take the battery charging unit with you so you won’t miss any pictures.

Digital cameras allow you to see the picture right away, so you have time to take your picture again, if needed. Don’t get anything too expensive or bulky, just a small cheaper camera will do. In fact, now you can get even a nice five mega pixel digital camera for less than two hundred dollars (in the US). That’s a bargain compared to the many hundreds or over a thousand dollars a few years ago. If you do take two cameras it might be a good idea to keep them in different bags as a safety precaution in case one of them gets lost or drops.

Travel first aid kits - These are perfect for those minor emergencies that occur on your way to your destination or while you’re there. Buying such a kit on the road can be costly and help ruin your budget, so bring your own and save that money for something else. They can be picked up in your leisure so you’ll have one when you’re ready to travel.

A Compressor bag for clothing - This is a great accessory to have. These type bags can be stuffed with your clothes. Then the air is sucked out of them, leaving you with a compact bag that takes up less space than a normal bag.

It might mean a few more accessories you’ll have to pack, but it can be well worth your while.
